I have been luckily enough to work in architecture for over 25 years within this area, firstly as an Architectural Technician prior to qualification and registration as a Chartered Architect.

With a passion to work closely with my client(s), the aim is to provide individual project designs and proposals. Involvement for your project can be tailored to your personal requirements, whether you need involvement for the initial stages only ie Brief to Planning and/or Building Regulations, or through to completion.

This website shows only a few of the projects which I have been involved with but hopefully provides an illustration - I would welcome the opportunity to be a part of your project and I would be very happy to meet with you initially to discuss your vision and my potential involvement.

Testimonials

Darren was very easy to deal with considering we had no prior experience of any type of major building works. Darren listened to what we wanted too achieve and understood our brief and then turned them into some great design ideas. Some new suggestions Darren made helped the design really work. This happened during the numerous visits to our house so we all had the best understanding possible. The assistance with the planning officer was essential as it was not an easy project to gain approval but Darren gained approval for us. Darren also worked with our building contractors to ensure any questions they had got answered quickly and visited site during the build to make sure all was going well. We have been so impressed with this work that we have used Darren on another project which he has helped us design our new garage/cartshed. We have been very happy to recommend him to friends and family.

Mr.& Mrs. C.S.

Darren French was recommended to us by our local builder and he has surpassed our expectations. Our first architect drew up plans for a new build but then when it came to producing detailed plans and building specs, he left us in the lurch. Darren took up the project and ran with it. He came up with many improvements on the original plans and helped get these through planning. He has been exceptionally attentive throughout and his charges have been very reasonable. I would have no hesitation in using his services again and have already recommended him to others.

Please contact me if you there are any questions I can help you with. I hope you will give him your business and be as happy with him as we are.

Mr. & Mrs. P. H.

We are so pleased that we had Darren involved from the start as it was obvious from the outset that even though it was a small project, he was going to provide the advice and support we needed to feel comfortable with all aspects. He was very easy to work with and is clearly very dedicated and professional. The amount of attention he gave our project throughout was very reassuring and we couldn’t be happier with the service given and the end result. We would advise anyone with a building project, to involve an architect, thank you Darren.

Mr. & Mrs. P. E.

Darren took his time to fully understand our vision and objectives and we are really pleased with the results and would recommend Darren as an architect.

Mrs. K. C.
